We are looking for a competent, motivated and ambitious Sales Account Executive to join our team in order to support our growing business in Spain where we already have a well-established presence with clients from private and public sector, transport operators, software house and system integrators, consultancy and research institutions. You’ll be directly responsible for the maintenance and expansion of our customer base.
The ideal candidate (m/f/d) will be an ambitious individual (m/f/d) that is keen to progress their career to a diverse role combining business development responsibilities, sales administration, technical software sales and business analytics.
You will be responsible for organizing our overall sales effort, at the same time delivering your own personal sales target. Experience or understanding of the transportation and logistics sector, excellent communication skills and willingness to get trained in PTV software solutions will be required.
The successful candidate (m/f/d) will be prepared to travel in Spain. Depending on the level of experience and skill we will offer an attractive package of salary and benefits.

Key responsibilities
- Work on sales business plans with Sales Management, sales strategies and for assigned customer segment.
- Define and initialize sales campaigns together with the support of the Marketing team to actively drive a daily volume of inbound and outbound leads based on sales campaigns connecting via phone, email and LinkedIn.
- Participate actively on fairs, summits and congresses, build up personal networks in order to set discover meetings with new qualified prospects.
· Grow network of client contacts, develop business relationships and drive growth.
- Work collaboratively with the team evaluating sales opportunities, understand customers’ goals and create adequate product and solution offerings.
- Presenting and demonstrating the value of PTVs products, solutions and services to prospective buyers.
- Negotiate with customers, sell PTV solutions and services, manage pitches and close new business.
- Take over actively (follow, nurture, develop and qualify leads (SQL) from inbound/outbound activities leads, identify and work on sales opportunities to transform them into orders.
- Administrate accounts, contacts and quotes, and monitor sales opportunities within CRM, create transparent sales pipeline.
Qualifications and skills
- High interest and/or experience in the segment of transportation and logistics, especially in the field of optimization to reduce costs and CO2 emissions.
- Proven track record in software sales and good communication and negotiation skills.
- Sales fundamentals, business-oriented attitude and relationship building.
- Organized and process oriented, pipeline management strongly CRM based.
- Good skills in MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint.
- Educated to Degree level ideally in a logistics or transport related subject.
- The position is based in Barcelona.
